Vittorio Emanuele's funeral chapel with the royal standard - Last hour

Highlights: Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy will be buried in the Sant'Uberto chapel in Reggia di Venaria Reale, not far from Turin. The chapel of rest will be open to the public from 12.30 pm, there will be members of the royal family and the honor escort. The Turin Cathedral will open at 1pm for access by invited guests. At 2.45pm the arrival of the Royal Family and the entrance is scheduled in person and at 2.50pm the coffin will make its entrance.

At 11.30 tomorrow, on the occasion of Vittorio Emanuele's funeral chapel in the Sant'Uberto chapel at the Reggia di Venaria Reale, not far from Turin, the coffin is expected to arrive accompanied by his son, Emanuele Filiberto, Duke of Savoy and head of the Royal House.

Labara will be placed on the ground, in front of the altar, placed on a carpet, wrapped in a banner with the royal coat of arms.


    The chapel of rest will be open to the public from 12.30 pm, there will be members of the royal family and the honor escort of members of the dynastic orders of the Royal House of Savoy and the guards of honor at the royal tombs.

Then at 9pm the funeral home will be closed.

On the occasion of the funeral of Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy, scheduled for Saturday, the Turin Cathedral will open at 1pm for access by invited guests.

At 2.45pm the arrival of the Royal Family and the entrance is scheduled in person and at 2.50pm the coffin will make its entrance accompanied by Prince Emanuele Filiberto, followed by Johannes Niederhauser, general secretary of the Supreme Order of the Santissima Annunziata, who will carry the Collaredell on a cushion 'Order, to the tune of the Sardinian anthem.

On the left side, corresponding to the Chapel which houses the Holy Shroud, the Royal Family will take their seats, while on the opposite side the Heads of State, the members of the Royal Houses and the authorities present will take their places.
