The director Agnès Varda, who died in 2019 at the age of 90, is the subject of a stamp with her image which will be marketed from April 2, La Poste confirmed to Le Parisien this Thursday, February 8.

On this stamp, the director of “Cléo de 5 à 7” and “Visages villages” appears alongside her cat Zgougou, in a photo taken by Didier Doussin.

A reference to a phrase by Agnès Varda: “That's all you need in life: a computer, a camera and a cat”.

His name and the words “1928-2019” are also inscribed on this stamp printed in rotogravure and designed by Ségolène Carron.
