“We really are nothing without her…” The iconic theme song of “Plus belle la vie” is once again on everyone’s lips.
Shut down by France 3 on November 18, 2022, after 18 years of existence, the famous daily series was relaunched on TF 1 on January 8.
And, a month after his arrival at 1:40 p.m., from Monday to Friday, all the signals are green for Laurent Kérusoré, Léa François, Cécilia Hornus and even Jérémy Charvet.
“It’s a real success,” rejoices the management of the front page.
And for good reason: on average, since its return to the air, the series has easily established itself after “1 p.m.”.
The first 22 episodes attracted 2.26 million viewers at 1:40 p.m. on the first channel.
To which must be added 350,000 faithful in replay.
As a result, market shares are excellent with 27.6% of the entire public, including replay.
On the commercial target, it is a real plebiscite with 43.6% audience share (PDA) among women responsible for purchases under 50 years old.
18 points more than the box in the first half of 2023!
New decors in the coming weeks
In addition, the 8:20 p.m. rebroadcast on TFX brings together around 400,000 additional curious people each evening, for 1.9% PDA.
A real reason for satisfaction.
“With a quarter of the audience achieved via streaming, the success of
Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle
perfectly illustrates the editorial strategy and digital acceleration of the TF 1 Group as well as the complementarity between linear and streaming,” says delights the front page.
In the corridors, some even note that the soap opera now brings together more people than the last seasons of France 3!

Its competitors are following this success closely.
“It’s a definite success,” recognizes a France Télévisions executive.
But we will have to follow this over time, and prevent the afternoon TV films scheduled after the series from suffering from this.
Because today, once the episode of
Plus belle la vie
is over, part of the public skips to

with Faustine Bollaert on France 2.”
On the TF 1 side, we in any case have our eyes on the future.
New decors should emerge in the coming weeks.
And the actors will have the first opportunity to meet their (new) audience during the Séries Mania festival in Lille in March.
