"There is no doubt, even if only motivated, due to the (para)military methods with which they acted and the equipment of the same nature that they had procured, that the aim that moved the Nar was strictly subversive political and had as its aim the structures of the democratic and the radical destruction of society; it was therefore a strategy of radical destabilization of the 'system'. In other words, the specific intent required by the crime referred to in Article 285 of the Criminal Code occurs."
This is what the Court of Appeals claims in the sentence confirming the life sentence for the former NarGilberto Cavallini for the Bologna massacre.
