The kebab is one of the most popular fast food dishes in Germany.
Even rising prices couldn't change that - but where is the limit?
Munich – A few years ago, many kebabs in Germany still cost just under four euros.
In 2024, six to eight euros will have to be paid in many places.
But a fine kebab easily tops this: the flatbread sandwich costs a whopping 29.90 euros.
The offer is half-silent at best for another reason, as it later turned out.

How much can a kebab cost so that customers still flock to the stores?

After the largest kebab meat producer announced that it would significantly increase prices, prices of over ten euros for a kebab are anything but unlikely.
However, one store exaggerated the price and ended up on Reddit.
The kebab shop had a kebab or dürüm on offer for 6.50 euros, but that wasn't enough.
Customers had the opportunity to receive a luxury kebab with Kobe Wagyu meat in Japan style.
Cost: 29.90 euros.
Reddit users discussed extensively whether this price for a kebab could even be justified.
“You have to treat yourself to it once,” said the user with the most upvotes.
But he doesn't want to pay for the luxury kebab himself: "Only for his birthday, on his colleague's neck."

Most users were of the opinion that a fine kebab had no place in a fast food shop.
