UK headlines the morning after the news of King Charles' cancer/Reuters
The last few weeks have been particularly chaotic in the royal household.
After
Kate Middleton
underwent a mysterious operation on her stomach, was hospitalized for a long time and canceled all her commitments until Easter, it was the turn of
King Charles
.
The 75-year-old monarch underwent a medical procedure to treat an enlarged prostate, but at the beginning of the week an official announcement came out that caused a veritable earthquake: the king has cancer.
A brief look at the royal line reveals that quite a few family members have contracted the cursed disease.
Some overcame it and lived to see a cricket match or two, but others passed away after a long struggle.

The Queen Mother
was the mother of the late
Queen Elizabeth
.
She passed away in 2002 at the respectable age of 101, and as befits a woman who lived for so many years, she went through quite a few upheavals along the way.
In an official biography published after her death, it is written that in 1966, she underwent an hour and a half operation to remove a tumor from her intestine.
The operation was successful, but 18 years later she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Queen Mother managed to defeat him once again.
In 2001, when she was 100 years old, she broke her pelvis.
Not long after, she fell and cut her arm, but insisted on appearing at official events on the condition that she not be photographed sitting in a wheelchair.
Classic until the last minute.

Although Edward VIII
reigned for less than a year, he left a mark in royal history after he decided to give up his status, forfeit the crown, and all in order to marry Wallis
Simpson
.
The two were together until 1972, when Edward died of cancer at the age of 77. After 14 years of widowhood, Simpson joined him in a world of good and breaking conventions.
And if you thought Edward was breaking boundaries, it's only because you haven't heard of
George IV
.
He ascended the throne in 1820 and lived a life of debauchery that included many loves, various and odd addictions and accumulated debts that, if accumulated today, would reach a handsome sum of £55 million. After ten years as king, George died of a tumor the size of an orange that developed on his bladder.

The couple divorced and Andrew became involved in affairs that included sexual harassment and a close friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Last June it was reported that the duchess had breast cancer.
A spokesperson for her announced that she had successfully undergone surgery and was required to rest in the arms of her family, but the euphoria did not last long: last month it was reported that Ferguson was suffering from aggressive skin cancer.
She commented on the news on her Instagram account and wrote "Naturally, a second diagnosis of cancer within a year has taken me by surprise. However, I am keeping a good mood and am grateful for all the love and support I am receiving."
