Immediately the match against the world vice-champions France at home, then another away match against Israel.
After the draw carried out yesterday in Paris, this morning UEFA announced the calendar for the group stage of the 2024/25 Nations League: inserted in Group 2 of LegaA, the Azzurri will begin their journey in the tournament on Friday 6 September in France and then face off on Monday September 9th with Israel.
In October two more matches in Italy (the 10th with Belgium, the 14th with Israel), while on November 17th the Azzurri will close the group by hosting France, three days after visiting Belgium.
An iron group for Italy, finalists in the latest editions of the Nations League - both finished in third place - and aware that reaching the last act of the competition again could also favor them in view of the 2026 World Cup, given that the finalists will have a pass for the playoffs.
First, however, the Azzurri will be called to Germany this summer to defend the title of European Champions.
