A couple lived a
nightmare
on Route 7 near
General Levalle
, in
Córdoba
, when a
truck driver
chased them, trapped them and then crashed.
Everything was recorded on a cell phone, even at the moment in which the driver of the car hangs from the back of the truck to take the data and thus report him, in a drama similar to "Duel", Steven Spielberg's debut film.
The nightmare occurred on Friday night between the access to General Levalle, in the south of Córdoba, and National Route 7. "We were waiting for two trains to pass, the barriers were low and it took a long time. The truck was signaling lights and He honked his horn,
got out and started saying things
," said Antonio, driver of the Volkswagen Gol.
"Once the barriers were opened, he came out in full fury and went to hitch a trailer that was in front of a hotel on the way," acknowledged the man, who gave the report with his wife Soledad, who burst into tears.
"When I pass by, I make a gesture to him, like I say '
buy a plane'
, but there was no insult or anything," Antonio told
Telefé Noticias
.
He assured that at that moment he decided not to hitch the trailer and pursue them.
"He stuck to the tail of the car and passed us very close and got in front of us.
He accelerated and decelerated while zigzagging
on the road," Antonio said and it can be seen in the images that his wife recorded.

The couple who were saved from the attack told of the nightmare they experienced in Córdoba.
After a few minutes of this, the truck reached the area of a donkey's back, blocked the route
to make a "U" turn with the intention of hitting them head-on.
“On a hill, the truck suddenly made a U-turn and crossed the truck on the road with the intention of turning around and running over them.
The family jumped onto the shoulder, the truck hit them and fled,”
the lawyer reported.
"He saw me on the ground and wanted to run over me," said the motorist attacked by the truck driver in Córdoba
At that moment, while his wife films him and yells at him, Antonio climbs onto the back of the truck that attacked them.
"I'm five kilometers hanging by the tail until the truck brakes and crosses the train tracks, at which point I jump," said the motorist who lives in Laboulaye, who recently moved to General Levalle.
"I fall from the truck, it drags me and when he
sees that I am on the ground, he brakes and reverses to hit me again. He wanted to run over me
and I hide under the trailer. I didn't think about it, I reacted to look for the information. I could see the sheet metal. Thank God we are fine, we can count it," he stated.
That same night he filed a complaint at the General Levalle police station.
The truck has been seized, but it has not yet been confirmed whether the truck driver was detained nor has his identity been released.
Recorded in a four-minute video on a cell phone, the scenes of terror that the Córdoba family experienced are reminiscent of Spielberg's 1971 film made for television (based on the book by Richard Matheson), in which a driver is suddenly chased by a truck driver whose face is never seen.
