A little girl was rescued today almost 60 hours after a landslide that killed at least 11 people in a mining village in the southern Philippines, leaving more than a hundred missing.
The little girl was found by rescuers digging with shovels and bare hands to look for survivors in the village of Masara, in the south of the island of Mindanao.
The landslide, caused by heavy rain, occurred on Tuesday evening: it destroyed houses and swallowed three buses and a vehicle carrying workers from a gold mine.
