Empoli beat Salernitana 3-1 away and, for the first time, pulled themselves out of the relegation zone.
For the Tuscans it is the eighth point in four games after the change of coach.
However, the Campania team collapsed and remained last and far behind.
Salernitana feels the weight of the match and takes the field too contracted and tense.
Empoli, led by the former Davide Nicola, plays the game well, managing to hurt the Campania team especially at speed.
The first half was almost entirely Tuscan-inspired: Cambiaghi and Zurkowski, deployed between the lines, sent Salernitana's rearguard into a tailspin which, on more than one occasion, faltered.
On the opposite front, Dia, deployed in the role of first striker, is too isolated and Empoli manages to nullify him.
However, an episode broke the balance: Cambiaghi, starting from the left, moved in and shot, Zanoli headed it and the ball ended up behind his goalkeeper.
The opening goal gives wings to Empoli who have at least two opportunities to double the lead: Cerri (27') wastes a good counterattack, pardoning the Salernitana defense who had found themselves exposed following the development of a corner kick in their favor .
In the 35th minute, however, the Empoli striker dives well but the ball goes just to Ochoa's right.
The first gasp of the Granata brand came in the 38th minute: Dia turned well in the area but his shot went just wide to the left of Caprile.
Inzaghi loses Pierozzi due to injury and is forced to change structure: back four (4-3-3) and Weissman in the offensive trident.
Salernitana tries to push and in the 45th minute they have the equalizer but Caprile gets excited and manages to deflect a great shot from the edge of Kastanos into a corner.

In the second half Nicola's team seems to be in control of the match but fails a couple of counterattacks with Zurkowski and Cerri.
Inzaghi tries to increase the offensive weight of his team, also throwing Tchaouna into the fray.
And in the 24th minute he found the episode that put the game back in balance: Candreva fired in from the right, Weissman took the time of the Tuscan defense and headed home to equalise.
With the result 1-1 Nicola manages to reorganize the team, immediately inserting Fazzini and Niang.
And the move proved to be a winning one: in the 41st minute the 2003 born player broke through into the area and was brought down by Pellegrino.

From eleven meters Niang is icy and displaces Ochoa.
In the final Cancellieri closes the score on the counterattack, giving three golden points to the Tuscans.
