A fierce storm arose this Friday morning in much of the province of Córdoba.
While residents of several cities tried to fall asleep and others woke up in despair, the storm of rain and wind caused trees to fall, roofs to explode, floods and electricity outages.
In addition, hundreds of families were isolated.
La Para
, a town of about 5,000 inhabitants in the department of Rio Primero, 120 kilometers northeast of the capital, was one of the towns hardest hit by the storm: during the early morning it received about 280 millimeters of water and
was completely isolated,
since that provincial route E-52, one of the main accesses to the city, was still completely closed this afternoon.
Civil Defense is already working at the site and several evacuees were reported, although the authorities have not yet specified the number.
The municipality, for its part, issued a statement in which "
a state of disaster
caused by the floods, and given the need and urgency to seek immediate solutions to the situation."
In addition, he launched a series of requests and recommendations to neighbors to help alleviate the situation.

Colonia Caroya, 50 kilometers north of the city of Córdoba, was another of the towns that suffered the fierce attacks of the weather.
Although the National Meteorological Service had warned of the yellow alert,
no one expected the 116 millimeters of water that hit the town since Thursday afternoon
.
The storm caused trees to fall in that city and flooded the streets.
Added to this were gusts of wind of up to 75 kilometers per hour that caused damage to some homes.
The local Deliberative Council reported that all areas of public services and works would be dedicated to the tasks of clearing streets and lifting fallen branches.

The rains come after several weeks of drought and oppressive heat, although the intensity of the rain did not bring solutions, but instead brought new problems.
La Para was not the only town affected, and in other municipalities such as Marull-Villa Fontana 174.8 mm fell;
in Toro Pujio, 132;
in Saturnino Laspiur, 131 mm and in Colonia Caroya/Jesús María, 112.
A destroyed winery in Colonia Caroya and the witness account: "Tornado tail"
The
warehouse of the “La Caroyense” winery
had been standing for more than 80 years in this town in Córdoba and was used to store the company's bottles.
However, the storm this Thursday afternoon was too much for the construction, which, impacted by what
neighbors called the "tail of a tornado,
" ended up collapsing.
Temporary weather in Córdoba destroyed the roof of a warehouse in Colonia Caroya and left fallen trees and evacuated neighbors.
According to one of the employees there, “the boys felt an explosion and when they came to look they found this disaster.”
There were no people inside the building at the time of the collapse.
In addition, they stressed that
the damage only affected the shed
, and that a nearby gallery "did not suffer a single scratch."
The plates ended up about 200 meters away,
