GloboNews published a video this morning - immediately picked up by the local media - shot on 5 July 2022 in which the former Brazilian right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro makes an appeal to the ministers closest to him in the government, to prepare a strategy which, based on fake news, contributed to creating a climate of conflict in the country and fueled doubts about the electoral system.
The video, found on the computer of Bolsonaro's former aide-de-camp, now collaborator of justice Mauro Cid, was cited in the order of Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes for the maxi-operation 'Time of truth'.
In the video you can see the table at which former ministers and generals sit, while the former head of state incites them to spread fraudulent information in an attempt to turn the tide in the electoral dispute.
"From now on I want every minister to say what I will say here", says the former head of state, listing the themes of the defamatory campaign.
