"Let's not give up, this city is ours", the leader of the far-right formation "Legio Hungaria" which is organizing the celebration, Bela Incze, told the Kuruc.info website, outlining the alternative route chosen to avoid a clash with the police, present with large forces in the centre. of the Hungarian capital.
Another neo-Nazi organisation, "Blood and Honor Hungaria", organized a concert in private land, also prohibited by the police, it was also learned in Budapest.

The event, which attracts neo-Nazis from many European countries every year, will still be held with participants in military uniforms and neo-Nazi flags, the site reports.
The "Day of Honor" celebrates the attempted escape from Buda Castle in 1945 by Nazi and Hungarian fascist troops in which around 20 thousand fighters died.
But two anti-fascist demonstrations were also called in Budapest, as part of an international campaign called "Stop Nazi Glorification".
One is called by the anti-fascists of the "Autonom Mozgalom" group.
