Israeli attacks hit the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus, killing at least three people, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) said.
Rami Abdel Rahman, director of the UK-based NGO which has a vast network of sources in Syria, added that many other people were injured in the attacks on a neighborhood that is home to "villas of soldiers and high-ranking officials".
The death toll could rise, added Rahman, who was unable to specify whether the victims were soldiers or civilians.
Previously, OSDH had reported Israeli attacks on a "residential complex" west of Damascus.
The NGO reported that "the area around the Mazzé military airport, west of the capital Damascus, was targeted".
According to Osdh, "Lebanese Hezbollah and other pro-Iranian groups are present in that area".
