Highlights: TV audiences: Victoires de la musique down, “Cassandre” in the lead. “Free Guy” with Ryan Reynolds attracted 1.6 million moviegoers and 9.7% of French people in front of their televisions. The first wins by a few thousand viewers over the second with its German TV film “A Good Cop: Heaven Can Wait” watched by 827,000 people. The France 3 series with Gwendoline Hamon and Alexandre Varga brought together more than 3.3 million followers.

The musical ceremony, although successful and eclectic, recorded a falling audience while the France 3 detective series arrives

The Victoires de la Musique ceremony on France 2 was a success.

Rich, rhythmic, varied, eclectic.

Ideal for bringing together different audiences.

However, it did not succeed in uniting more than usual.

The event is even down compared to previous years.

A little over 2.1 million music lovers followed the coronation of Zaho de Sagazan, and the tied awards of Vianney and Gazo on Friday evening.

There were 2.3 million in 2023 and 2.7 in 2022. The same goes for audience share where the show, shorter than usual, falls below the 15% mark (14.8%) reached during the last two editions.

She finished third of the evening.

It's "Cassandre" who comes out on top and is doing well. The France 3 series with Gwendoline Hamon and Alexandre Varga, a sure bet on the channel, brought together without any difficulty more than 3.3 million followers and 18 .1% of the public with its episode “Le secret d’Angèle”.

On the second step of the podium, TF 1's “Grand Contest special 20 years” presented by Arthur attracted 2.4 million viewers and 13.4% of the public.

A smaller audience share than the Victories which were longer than the game on the front page.

Behind the leading trio, the Friday evening film from M 6 is the only one to exceed one million.

“Free Guy” with Ryan Reynolds attracted 1.6 million moviegoers and 9.7% of French people in front of their televisions.

Then, Arte and France 5 are neck and neck.

The first wins by a few thousand viewers over the second with its German TV film “A Good Cop: Heaven Can Wait” watched by 827,000 people in front of the tribute to Robert Badinter, scheduled at the last minute on the 5 and followed by 786,000 curious people.
