Ukrainian authorities say a Russian attack hit a gas station in the eastern city of Kharkiv, causing a large fire that engulfed 15 residential buildings, in which one person died and another was injured.
The regional prosecutor's office explains that over 50 residents including two children were evacuated.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov reports that the fire area is approximately 3,700 square meters.
Emergency services are still trying to put out the flames and rescue people who are thought to still be trapped in the buildings.
So far, four people have been rescued.
Russian drones also hit the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa last night.
Local authorities announced this, adding that a 44-year-old man was injured in the attack.
Moscow claims to have intercepted and eliminated Ukrainian three-drone warblers on the border of the Russian region of Bryansk tonight.
In a statement cited by the Tass agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense declares that "the Kiev regime's attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles against targets" on the territory of Russia "has been foiled: the defense systems in service have intercepted and eliminated three drones over the Bryansk region."
