Asked about the complaints filed against Jacques Doillon and Benoît Jacquot, Anny Duperey regretted, on Saturday on RTL, a “late witch hunt”.
“I'm going to get hit but I think this is all extremely exaggerated,” she declared.
And to continue: “Let us admit that certain men were, indeed, predators, but they sometimes did beautiful works.
I would not at all like us to condemn their works at the same time as the man.

“The victim’s profile”
Alexandra Lamy also returned to the comments of the 76-year-old novelist and photographer, who mentioned “her lack of experience” with acts of harassment to comment on this subject.
“No one risked attacking me, I didn’t have the profile of the victim,” declared Anny Duperey.
A sentence that doesn't get across.
“Ms. Duperey, you mean to the 93,000 women who are victims of rape per year, to the 220 women murdered by their spouse or ex-spouse, to all those who have been under the influence for years, or even all their lives, but who, unlike to you, have the profile of the victim,” denounces the actress.
Committed to the fight against violence against women, Alexandra Lamy notably directed the television film “Touches”, broadcast last September which traces the destiny of three women victims of violence who became friends by participating in therapy based on 'fencing.
She also recently signed a column to denounce the “impunity” of Gérard Depardieu, indicted for rape since 2020 and targeted by three complaints for sexual assault or rape, which he denies.
