A clean apartment ensures that you feel really comfortable in your own four walls.
This also includes swinging the vacuum cleaner regularly.
Vacuuming is one of those household tasks that never goes away.
Because before you know it, the floor is full of stones and street dirt that you carry into the house with your shoes.
But hair and skin flakes also ensure that dust is constantly “reproduced”.
However, a few rules will help keep the dust at bay.
How often to vacuum?
Rule of thumb helps
Whether it's hard floors or carpets, you should vacuum at least once a week.

It is impossible to say in general terms how often vacuuming is necessary.
The following rules, which are recommended by household professionals, provide guidance:
As a rule of thumb, the apartment should be vacuumed thoroughly at least once a week.
With a trick you can get into even the furthest dusty corners.
The more people and animals live in the household, the more often the vacuum cleaner can be used.
If there are two people in the household, vacuuming should be done twice a week - if there are three people or more, at least three times.
If you are allergic to house dust, it is best to vacuum every day and change your bed linen regularly.
Can you vacuum on Sundays?
If you don't have much time during the week, you prefer to clean your apartment on the weekend.
Vacuum cleaning on Sundays is not forbidden per se.
It is still advisable to pay attention to the quiet time so as not to cause trouble in the neighborhood.

This is the correct order when vacuuming
To ensure that it always stays clean and tidy, it is not only important how often you vacuum, but also in which order.
To avoid ruining the result immediately after vacuuming, you should always dust first and then vacuum.
This means you can vacuum up any dust that falls down straight away.
Also, start with the dirtiest rooms - usually the bathroom (due to stray hair), kitchen and hallway - and work your way to the rooms with the least dust.
The floors are then mopped with a damp cloth – and your home will shine again.
