The PNL detailed that 20 brigade members were working with hand tools to create a firebreak in the Chufquen-Ñorquinco fire, with an approximate area of 2,500 square meters, whose fuel is araucarias, colihue cane and ñire and lenga bushes.
The PNL reminded “residents and visitors that the paths in Malal-Co and Lake Hui Hui remain closed until further notice,” and requested “to respect the instructions and obtain information through the official means of the institutions that address the emergency.”
