, a New Yorker at heart, always manages to maximize the fashion week events in the city.
That's how everything is within touching distance, sometimes it's fun that things reach you.
Holmes, who has been living in the Big Apple for years, manages to attend quite a few events at Fashion Week and the opening shot was this weekend at the Chanel watches and jewelry event at the flagship store on Fifth Avenue.

An unusual summit meeting happened between Holmes and Michelle Williams, who played alongside her in "Dawson's Creek", the successful youth show of the late nineties.
Both of course are dressed in Chanel from head to toe with Katie in a great knit suit.
She buttoned the cardigan only in the middle, from which a lace bra peeked out, high-waisted pants with black and white color block shoes, a small black Chanel quilted bag and a falling diamond necklace.
We loved the hair that was caught in an effortless braid that was placed alongside with the fresh bangs and a deep red lipstick alongside light makeup.

The day after Prada's beauty event took place in the city and Holmes whirled in another successful look.
A lime green midi length satin skirt with black tights plus stilettos and another gray cardigan with ornate buttons by Prada plus a rectangular black bag which she held in her hand.

Last but not least, as of this time of course, a whole week is still ahead of us, the 45-year-old star in the colorful New York brand Alice and Olivia's show.
As usual, Holmes wore the brand's items from head to toe, this time a mix and match that we didn't fully understand.
Low-cut jeans in a less flattering cut, a denim shirt with a black T-shirt underneath and a kind of trench jacket in camel in its short cut.
The cute part we liked - the pink tights that peeked out from the black sandals and Alice and Olivia's white bag with the golden handle.
All good but, you have another whole week to give work.
