For three portions of Irish stew you need these ingredients:
40 ml cooking oil
500 g beef goulash
100 g onions, diced
200g carrots, diced
350 g potatoes, diced
1.5 teaspoons thyme, dried
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
0.5 tsp pepper
500 ml beef broth
500 ml dark Irish beer (e.g. Guinness)
parsley, to taste

Preparation is easy thanks to these step-by-step instructions:
Heat cooking oil in a pan.
Fry the beef goulash for four minutes.
Add the onions, carrots, potatoes, thyme, garlic, salt, pepper, beef broth and beer and cover and simmer over medium heat for an hour until the meat is tender.
Pour into deep plates and garnish with parsley to taste.
Bread goes well with it.
