A 14-year-old boy was rescued in very serious conditions late yesterday evening in Rome after having set off a firecracker in the street in the company of other Cortanei.
It happened in Largo Vicarelli, in the Casal de' Pazzi area.
The alarm went off during the night when the boy arrived at the hospital.
The police are on site investigating the incident.
According to what we learn, he suffered very serious burns and lost his sight.
He is hospitalized in intensive care in critical condition.
A friend was also injured, accompanied to the emergency room by his father, but it was not serious.
The police are interviewing several people, including the boys' parents, to reconstruct what happened.
