A 26-year-old young man drowned
in the San Francisco del Chañar dam, in
Córdoba.
Firefighters rescued him, but could not revive him.
According to police sources,
the victim had entered the water in the river's leveling weir
.
It is being investigated whether she was alone or had gone to the place with family or friends.
Firefighters were alerted by a call indicating that
a person had disappeared in the water.
They managed to find the body and removed it from the river, but it was already without vital signs.
So far this summer season,
about twenty people have already drowned in different tourist destinations in the province of Córdoba.
