Harry & Meghan _ Official Teaser/Netflix
The last cover of
the editor of the British Vogue magazine, Edward Enipol,
was published a few days ago and with it a trail of praises and praises for those who have steered the ship for the past two decades.
For those who know less about the fashion industry, we will say that being on the cover of the prestigious magazine is one of the biggest achievements for any woman in the world.
Why are we telling you this you ask?
On the last cover, 40 iconic women were photographed one by one, there is no way you have not come across their names before.
Among them,
Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Miley Cyrus, Linda Evangelista, Gigi Hadid
and many more.
After the edition was presented, many fans of
the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle
, remained shocked that she did not take part in one of the grandiose productions in history (do you realize how long it took them to coordinate the photo day??).

As mentioned, many were outraged that Markle did not appear in the cover photo and began calling the magazine widely on social networks, claiming that it was "confiscated" from the production.
However, according to Vogue insiders, it was reported to the "Daily Mail" what is the real reason for her absence on the iconic set.
Well, the cover included women who had already been photographed and appeared on the cover of the magazine in the past and were invited again to close the circle.
As it turned out, Megan did already have the opportunity to appear on the cover years ago, how she refused for reasons of "modesty" and did not take advantage of the opportunity.
The refusal came after she was offered to participate in the September issue of the magazine which featured 15 trailblazing women.

At the time, the duchess decided not to take part in the honor given to her because she feared she would be portrayed as "boasting", or in other words - someone who didn't want to flaunt herself too much.
Outgoing magazine editor Aninful praised her decision at the time: "From the beginning we talked about the cover - whether she would be on it or not. In the end, she felt that in some ways it would be too 'glorious' to do this particular project," adding: "She wanted, instead That is, to focus on the women she appreciates."
The post summarizing Anipaul's work for the British magazine described how the concept for his final edition came to life.
