"They finally allowed her to see the videos that supposedly represent the accusation, a 10 terabyte hard disk that must all be seen because the prosecution doesn't know which clip it wants to refer to. Until now she had them but she hadn't been allowed to to view them, just to frame the scenario in which this process takes place".
Roberto Salis, father of Ilaria, the 39-year-old teacher from Lombardy on trial in Hungary for the alleged beating of a neo-Nazi militant, said this during a TV interview with Sky.
"The hypothesis of terrorism has never existed - Salis specified when speaking of the accusations made against Ilaria by the Budapest investigators - my daughter is accused of belonging to a criminal organisation. In the trial documents there are 800 pages of a trial in Germany on an organisation, in which my daughter's name never appears, so it is not clear - concludes Salis - why my daughter was involved".

The Hungarian Guarantor takes charge of the case
The Hungarian counterpart of the National Guarantor of the Rights of Persons Deprived of Liberty (GNPL), i.e. the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, at the request of the GNPL itself - who in recent days had written to him regarding the conditions of detention of Ilaria Salis asking to monitor carefully his present and future situation - reassured our Guarantee Body on the official taking charge of the case.
This was announced by the Italian National Guarantor.
