A ski holiday like this is worth a lot of money!
A customer was all the more surprised about the schnitzel price on the Alm in Austria - and he is not alone.

The Reddit group “Schnitzel Crimes” is very popular.
Now it has even exceeded a magical membership mark.
There is more than just cause for disgust, as was recently the case with this Hawaiian schnitzel.
But there are always sights that make the hearts of schnitzel fans soar, as was recently the case with an insider tip from Bavaria that a guest provided with photos of the menu.
On the other hand, a schnitzel in Munich costs an impressive 33 euros, which one guest really enjoyed, but was not without criticism from the Reddit community.
Munich is expensive, and so are the large ski areas.
In this respect, it is no wonder that a schnitzel that costs less than half the price is now attracting particular attention: one user paid “16 euros on a mountain pasture on a skiing holiday,” he reports proudly.
There are more than 1,000 reactions via up/downvotes and dozens of comments.

Others have a bit to complain about.
“That doesn’t scare me for the price, Stieglbier would bother me more,” one user wrinkles his nose.
“It looks great, but WHY WAVE CUT FRIES” and “Schnitzel looks good, but the rippled fries are bad,” others wonder.
“It looks cool, but with the best will in the world I don’t understand why people would voluntarily eat jam with it,” complains another.
Of course, some people would like to get one of these on their next skiing holiday - or at least know where they can get the schnitzel.
In fact, the name of the restaurant is mentioned several times, but we don't want to repeat it here to avoid unwanted advertising.
It is located in a pretty famous ski resort in Austria, in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm/Leogang area.
“Saalbach-Hinterglemm, right?” someone actually asks on Reddit.
The thread opener replies: “Actually yes.

Incidentally, the price given by the guest corresponds to that on a menu that someone else posted in a Google review four months ago.
With a small flaw: 16.20 euros are due more precisely for the pork schnitzel.
Prices are particularly high in a restaurant in another ski resort - even charging extra for empty cups.
