A female passenger on a Royal Caribbean cruise, which also operates cruises from Israel, died on board during a nine-month cruise around the world.



Popular content creator and cruise ship enthusiast Adita (@aditaml2759), who is on the same Royal Caribbean world cruise, shared on her TikTok account that she saw a woman's body being carried from her room by crew members, according to a video posted on her account on Sunday, but it has since been removed from the network.

"Sad news.

First death on our ultimate world cruise," Edyta wrote to her followers as she shared updates on the ship's journey while docked in Los Angeles. According to her, the guest was an elderly woman who was traveling alone and died in her room. "I came to my room, just as the body was taken out.

I am very sad, because I was there to watch it," said Edyta.

Royal Caribbean: "The passenger unfortunately died"

Royal Caribbean did not immediately respond to a request from the New York Post, which published the death, but the cruise line did confirm that a female passenger had died in a statement to the People website.



"A guest who sailed aboard the 'Serenade of the Seas' has unfortunately died. We are actively providing support and assistance to the guest's loved ones at this time. Out of a desire to preserve the privacy of the guest and her family, we have nothing more to share at this time," it said. in a message.

Edyta, who is on the ship with her husband, has amassed more than 65,000 followers on the social network and frequently posts about her experiences on board the cruise.

She shares videos updating followers on where the ship is in the world.



The 274-night cruise - the company's longest - docks in 65 countries and the ship can accommodate up to 2,476 guests.

Last month, Royal Caribbean launched the largest ship in the world that can accommodate about 10,000 guests and crew members, but criticism was heard around the world regarding the pollution intensity of such a large ship.
