"There will be a strict control of all the tickets that will be distributed, there will be a public notice at the end of the month in which we will ask for the various requirements for the tour operators who will be able to register at the park. The tickets will be allocated equally, also according to economic capacity, there will be a number by which cannot be accessed: hoarding will be impossible."
The director of the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum Alfonsina Russo said this, speaking in the Capitoline Tourism Commission on the topic of ticketing for the monument.
"We are also focusing on quality visits - he added - operators who sell tickets with a map or a video will be discarded, they will be excluded from the lists.
All companies and tour operators will be tracked from start to finish: the moment they there will be incorrect behavior, they will be out and will no longer be able to buy tickets."
