Floods throughout the province

In Córdoba, significant rainfall occurred since last Saturday in different locations, which is why many of the mountain rivers have a higher than normal water flow.

In fact, local media report it as "the largest flood so far this year."

The San Antonio River, one of the main tributaries of the San Roque dam, had a peak flood of 4.30 meters in Cuesta Blanca and more than 3 meters between San Antonio de Arredondo and Villa Carlos Paz, according to La Voz.

The force of the water and its volume made the sandy beaches that could be seen from the central bridge literally disappear under the water and the dam was seen for the first time this year as a true reservoir.

For this reason, the authorities reinforce the request for caution and not to approach the banks of the river routes.
