This Monday, Meghan and Harry replaced their website Archewell.com with Sussex.com on which they highlight their commitments and list their recent activities.

Change of direction.

This Monday, February 12, the Sussexes launched the site “The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan” (understand, the office of Prince Harry and Meghan) hosted on Sussex.com, replacing Archewell.com.

This new site will now share “personal updates from the couple” which will no longer necessarily be linked to their philanthropic foundation, Archewell therefore, we read in

On this new site, Prince Harry is highlighted, portrayed as "a humanitarian, army veteran, mental health advocate and environmental activist."

When his wife, former actress Meghan Markle, is presented as “a feminist and a champion of human rights and gender equality”.

“This will cause real problems”

Already controversial, this major change comes four years after Elizabeth II banned the use of the name "SussexRoyal", when Meghan and Harry ceased to be working members of the royal family.

But is Meghan and Harry's new strategy really a risky bet?

If the Daily Mail

is to be believed

, yes.

Royal sources tell the British tabloid that the use of their royal title, for apparently commercial purposes, could spark complaints from Buckingham Palace.

One of them told the

Daily Mail

: “Using the Sussex title will cause them real problems.

This is a royal title and if there is even the slightest hint of commercialism in this matter, [their site] will eventually be shut down.

It is simply astonishing that they cannot see how clumsy their action is.”

However, an informant close to the couple wants to qualify one point: “Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It is a fact.

It’s their last name.”

Harry and Meghan, Act II

The launch of Sussex.com has in any case fueled speculation that Meghan and Harry are trying to boost their careers and their image in the media.

And for good reason, it has been rumored for some time that the Sussexes are looking for new production companies to work with.

Their approximately €20 million deal with Spotify recently ended, and streaming giant Netflix may not renew its $100 million (€93 million) deal with them.
