According to the calculator, for a single person living alone with no children and no additional needs, a basic rent of 500 euros with 100 euros in heating costs comes to 1,163 euros.
However, if, for example, a 10-year-old child for whom no maintenance or child benefit is received comes into the household, they are entitled to 1,620.56 euros.
If the parent was only able to work to a limited extent, the citizen's allowance would rise to 1,817.61 euros.
