King Charles III has returned to London after spending a few days of rest at his Sandringham residence in Norfolk
, eastern England, following his first treatment for an unspecified cancer.
Sky News reports the news, according to which the sovereign is in Buckingham Palace and should undergo new treatment for the disease.
Charles appeared smiling in the shots taken by photographers upon his arrival in the British capital with Queen Camilla at his side.
The sovereign, as reported in recent days by the UK media, must undergo anti-tumor treatments once a week and is subsequently expected to spend a recovery period at the Sandringham residence.
Charles and Camilla arrived by helicopter at Buckingham Palace and later went, aboard the royal car, to the Clarence House residence.
While the king will dedicate himself to his care, the queen will continue to be busy with her busy agenda of public commitments, which increased after the diagnosis of her husband who must limit himself, as indicated by the doctors, to work within the royal residences .
