"The designer's report is in the final stages of approval. Once approved it will be made public together with all the project documents."
Thus sources from the Stretto di Messina company reply in relation to the complaint presented to the Prosecutor's Office by Pd and Avs which has among the reasons the lack of transparency on the project.
'As explained several times, there are no secrets - say the company sources - Stretto di Messina was asked to have a copy of a work not yet completed which requires an approval unit regulated by law.
The Strait of Messina investigation into the designer's report, which began on 30 September, involved in addition to the company's technical management, the Parsons transportation Group as Project manager consultant and an Expert panel as a support body for the technical activities of High Surveillance.
The Democratic Party and the left-wing Green Alliance presented a complaint to the prosecutor's office on the Strait Bridge.
The leaders Elly Schlein (Pd), Angelo Bonelli (Greens) and Nicola Fratoianni (SI) made this known at a press conference.
Among the reasons, the lack of transparency: "The government and the company Ponte sul Strait have not made public documents that are fundamental to understanding the extent of the project, the procedures - explained Bonelli - The report on the project was denied to parliamentarians, on the grounds that they are confidential and secret , yet they commit the state to 14.6 billion euros."
