Blossoming almonds in the Lower Galilee/photo: Dovrat HaGilil Lower
The flowering is now in full swing in the country, and the common almond, also known as the almond tree, has already been blooming in white and pink for several weeks.
In the Yatir region, where the almond blossom is a little later than in other places in the country, an almond blossom picnic will be held this month, Wednesday through Friday 2/21-23.
Habel Yatir Tourism invites visitors to a day of family picnic in the heart of a beautiful outburst of nature in Israel's largest blooming almond orchard, spread over 2,000 dunams.
