Preparation is easy thanks to these step-by-step instructions:

  • Whisk together Parmesan, 100 milliliters of whipping cream, egg yolks and nutmeg in a bowl.

    Put aside.

  • Cut the ham into small cubes and fry it in a pan with melted butter.

    Pour in the remaining whipped cream and bring to the boil.

  • Fold in the tortellini and salt.

    Simmer for five minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.

  • Reduce the heat and add the cream and Parmesan mixture to the tortellini.

    Mix everything well and simmer for another two minutes.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
