This new public service police series, in six episodes over two weeks of broadcast, begins against a backdrop of tensions between a retired police officer father and his daughter investigator.
Hannibal, played by Christian Rauth, has been an absent patriarch and is trying to reconcile with his family.
Annabelle, played by Julie-Anne Roth, takes charge of an investigation service in Montpellier, where her father worked for thirty years as a police officer.

The father's return with his bad faith aggravates his dyslexia.
The rhythmic series shows the grandpa who discreetly reconnects with Annabelle's son at college, interferes in his sports sessions to help him behind the teacher's back.
These moments are full of tenderness, funny and fresh.
The chicken, Hannibal's pet, brings a touch of originality to the thriller.
