Eight convictions and 22 acquittals: this is the verdict of the Court of Appeal of L'Aquila for the Rigopiano tragedy.
The judges confirmed the sentences imposed at first instance for the mayor of Farindola Ilario Lacchetta, for the managers of the Province Paolo D'Incecco and Mauro Di Blasio, for the technician Giuseppe Gatto and for the former manager of the hotel Bruno DiTommaso.
In addition to the former prefect Provolo, who will have to serve a sentence of one year and eight months for forgery and omissions of official documents, Leonardo Bianco, former head of the Prefecture's cabinet, and Enrico Colangeli, municipal technician of Farindola, were convicted.
