Doctors in the ward up to 72 years of age.
The FdI amendment to the Milleproroghe decree has been approved which allows NHS companies to keep medical and healthcare managers in service - until 31 December 2025 - beyond the retirement age, at their request, "also in order to meet training and tutoring of hired staff", as well as "to address the serious shortage of staff".
Anyone who has retired since September 2023 can be readmitted to service, within those limits. Medical and healthcare managers and university teachers involved cannot maintain or assume top management positions.
