In the fourth quarter of 2023, GDP remained stable (0%) in the Eurozone, recording zero growth compared to the previous quarter, when it decreased by 0.1%.
Eurostat made this known, confirming the stagnation announced in the first flash estimate released on January 30th.
In the EU as a whole, however, GDP increased by 0.1% compared to the previous quarter.
The first estimate of annual growth for 2023 was also confirmed: GDP in the Eurozone and in the Twenty-Seven increased by 0.5%.
