"Artificial Intelligence seeks to imitate man in reasoning, learning, planning and creativity. But it must not be a substitute for us. In fact, its nature as an instrument intended to serve humanity and not vice versa must be maintained. And to achieve this purpose it must be open, understandable, transparent, participatory".

The President of the Chamber Lorenzo Fontana said this when opening the presentation of the report of the Supervisory Committee on documentation activity entitled "Using Artificial Intelligence to support parliamentary work".

"I hope for the opening - underlined the President - of a comparison between the institutions to bring together all the projects launched and all the ideas in the development and implementation phase, to enhance our legislative and information heritage. This comparison will contribute to creating an Italian road, shared between institutions, for the use of these technologies".
