Ellis Cochlin, a British travel blogger, shared her experiences flying with her baby daughter on the social network TikTok, after revealing that she flew first class on a cross-continental trip, while her 11-month-old baby, and her partner, flew in economy class.
"Is it terrible of me to leave them both in economy class?"
asked the passenger Koechlin in the caption of the video she uploaded, which has already gained about 400,000 views.

Will you pay extra for a "flight without children"?
The mother decided to treat herself while she and her daughter Prim, and her boyfriend Rob, flew for 11 hours from Paris to Los Angeles.
Koechlin said she felt she deserved a siesta in the sky, and it was one of the rare flights she didn't fly with the baby.
"I've never flown with anyone else, it's just me and Prim," Koechlin described in the video.
"So the thought of getting help on this flight was amazing."
Koechlin added that she is amazed that she is able to do everything alone on flights with the baby - from packing the stroller with everything that is needed to taking care of Prim herself the entire flight.
"The thought of flying without babies was like music to my ears," she added.
"I love this girl with all my heart, but let me tell you - flying on a long flight with a baby is not easy."
She actually seems comfortable.

The baby is sleeping on the floor of the plane
The accompanying footage shows Koechlin waving goodbye to her boyfriend and the baby, who appears to be sleeping on the floor of the plane, before returning to business class and lounging in her seat like a modern Roman empress.
She even treated herself to a sumptuous meal of macaroni and risotto and freshened up with a hot towel.
Naturally, separating the mother and her boyfriend and the baby who flew in economy class may seem selfish, as if he was being used as a babysitter 10,000 km in the air. However, Koechlin tried to justify her actions by saying that Rob had never flown with Prim and really wanted to.
She added that he did not Jealous, because they prefer to spend their money in different ways. "I love jewelry, put me in business class any day," Koechlin described. "Rob would never spend money on business class because he just finds it pointless.
He prefers to spend money on restaurants, while I will never do that."

Despite her justification, many Tiktok surfers were unsympathetic towards her selfish indulgence on air, claiming that she did not consider her partner and child.
"This is... crazy," wrote one of the opponents.
"I think you two should have been there for each other and shared the responsibility," suggested another, while Koechlin replied, "He suggested that I fly calmly, and I've flown with the baby together so many times, so I don't see it as a problem."
"Wow the baby sleeps on the floor... with a seat that turns into a full bed," said another.
In fact, aviation experts have argued that it is dangerous in addition to being inconsiderate.
"Staff flight attendants here - please don't put the baby in the seat," said one of the righteous surfers.
"She could be harmed during an unexpected air turbulence, and in the event of a drop in pressure on the plane, the oxygen mask will not reach the baby."
However, others applauded the luxury flight that Kochlin arranged for herself.
"You've spent so much time taking care of the baby alone, I feel like you've definitely earned it!"
One surfer wrote, while another wrote, "A father has exactly the same rights and duties as a mother! So kudos to you for letting him do his duty!!!"
