In 2023, INPS paid nearly 18 billion euros (17,986.3 million) to families for the single and universal allowance for dependent children. The average number of households per month in 2023 was 5,932,851. Overall the families with at least one allowance received in the year were 6,479,173 for 10,021.926 children, according to the Observatory on the Single Allowance.

We read it in the Observatory on the Single Allowance which underlines that overall the families with at least one allowance received in the year (including those who received it with the citizen's income) were 6,479,173 for 10,021 .926 children.

The average number of households per month in 2023 was 5,932,851.

Spending in 2022 (from March, when it was introduced, to December amounted to 13.2 billion.
