Holidaymakers from zone A (Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon, Poitiers) will join holidaymakers from zone C (Île-de-France, Montpellier, Toulouse) from this Friday evening.

The strike of SNCF controllers announced by the unions will complicate the situation.

If

“Peak traffic should be reached towards the end of the afternoon,”

adds the traffic information service.

Traffic will remain heavy on the A6 motorway until late evening.

Bison futé therefore advises

“leaving or crossing Île-de-France before 2 p.m.”.

In Burgundy-Franche-Comté, difficulties are expected on the A6, and on the A4 in the Grand Est.

On the other hand, no disturbance is to be expected in the direction of returns, whatever the axis.
