The president of the Brazilian energy giant Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates, visiting Arab countries, said that if the crisis in Yemen worsens, it could have an impact on the international price of oil.
The CEO told CNN Brasil that the war between Israel and Hamas should not have major repercussions on the international oil market scenario, while "an escalation of the situation in Yemen could cause a surge in prices".
In recent days Prates met, among others, the CEO of the Mubadala investment fund, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, in Abu Dhabi, while in Kuwait he met with the authorities of Kuwait Petrolium.
