Until the day his life turns upside down: he is accused of harassment by one of the schoolgirls, Océane (played on screen by Mallory Wanecque).
Faced with pressure from the teenager's older brother and that of his classmates, Julien proclaims his innocence and seeks support among his colleagues and his superiors.
But faced with the risk of conflagration, silence reigns.

For his film, co-written with Audrey Diwan (
L'Événement
), the director, Teddy Lussi-Modeste, was inspired by his own story.
He himself was wrongly accused of harassment when he was a professor at a college in Aubervilliers, in Seine-Saint-Denis.
“My film is a cry.
And if there is a cry, it is because there is hope.
There are still men and women who have a taste for transmission – I myself do not see myself resigning from my teaching position despite the difficulties.
I am so grateful for everything that school has given me,” defends the director.
“To deconstruct the hate speech that runs through our society, we need more than ever for this transmission between teachers and students to take place.”
In addition to François Civil, the cast of the film includes the actress Agnès Hurstel, the comedian Fadily Camara, known for her role in the Netflix series
