Drugs and cell phones for Catanzaro prison inmates.
The Carabinieri and the penitentiary police carried out 38 precautionary measures against as many people, 26 of whom were arrested.
The measures were issued by the district investigating judge upon request of the Catanzaro DDA.
The operation involved prison police officers serving in the capital's prison, seven of whom were suspended.
The suspects are accused, among other things, of criminal conspiracy aimed at corruption and drug trafficking.
