Chinese diplomatic chief Wang Yi will travel to Europe this week to attend the Security Conference in Munich, Germany.
He announced his ministry today in a press release.
Wang's European tour is scheduled for February 16 to 21 and will also visit Spain and France, added Chinese diplomacy.
Beijing underlines that Wang's visit to Spain will be the first in six years, while his trip to France falls within the 60th anniversary of the European country's diplomatic relations with China: under the leadership of General Charles de Gaulle, France was the first great power in 1964 West to establish diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level with the People's Republic of China.
