"Today we tell the government that we are not asking for his resignation, we ask that the government and parliament take responsibility. Yesterday there was a meeting with the government, we are evaluating the answers given and in the afternoon we will say what we think. The clear thing and what is certain is that a discussion will open on urgent measures but we don't need sops, we need reforms, restoring dignity to farmers, artisans, fishermen, cities and communities".
This was said by the president of Altragricoltura, Gianni Fabbris, standing in front of the Colosseum where there are two tractors, together with Popolo Productivo.
"We have decided to unite all the small businesses, those that make Made in Italy products that are not multinationals and lobbies - explains the president of Popoloproductivo, Angelo di Stefano -European and national choices must combine environmental protection and ecological conversion with the maintenance of productive activities spread across the sea, land and along the coasts", he adds.
