The pro-Iranian Lebanese Hezbollah claimed earlier that it had fired dozens of rockets at Kiryat Shmona, an Israeli town in the Upper Galilee.
And this a few hours after the killing of at least 13 people in an Israeli raid, including Lebanese civilians and a Hezbollah military commander, in Nabatiye, the southern Lebanese capital.
"As a first response to the Nabatiyeh massacres... Islamic resistance fighters launched dozens of Katyusha-type rockets against Kiryat Shmona," a Hezbollah statement appeared on its Telegram channel.
