The Ukrainian army has urgently sent the third assault brigade to the Avdiivka area to strengthen the troops in difficulty on the ground due to the continuous assaults of the Russian forces who have massed another 50 thousand soldiers in the area.
"The situation in the city is extremely critical", wrote the brigade on Telegram, as reported by UNIAN.
Yesterday the new head of the armed forces Oleksandr Syrsky expressed concern about the precarious situation on the front lines during a visit to eastern Ukraine together with Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
And he claimed that "the Russian occupiers are increasing their efforts and hold an advantage in terms of military numbers."
